Workshop addressing different ways in which and reasons why transformations in our cities take place. More precisely the workshop will be looking at the working methods, databases, targets and measures of success of the different profession(al)s and institutional bodies involved.

A panel of experts and different professionals like architects, urban planners, developers, geographers, urbanists, data analysts will address and discuss basic questions like: What do we expect from our urban environments in general and where is our own professional interest and input there? What is the data we work with and where do we find it? How far into future do we project our plans and estimations? Whom and how does our work concern and affect? How are our decisions and future projections communicated and inscribed into the process of urban transformation? What is the measure of our success?
