The article focuses on architecture of temporality and its growing influence and impact on the experience economy.
Some types of cultural events deliberately try to think ‘outside the box’, actively experimenting with a view to influencing and challenging established urban environments, for example by initiating and stimulation types of behaviour that do not normally belong in the places where they are played out. Temporary architecture has, in this sense, become a new strategic tool for urban development.
