Debate at the Nature Meeting

Debate at the Nature Meeting

I had the pleasure of presenting the project “The Pathways of Water” at the Nature Meeting in Hirtshals, in connection with the Danish Social Liberal Party’s debate event on nature and stream restoration.

”With the Green Tripartite Agreement, Denmark is facing the largest transformation of the landscape in 200 years. But how do we ensure that this is coordinated with the ever-increasing volumes of water? How can we live with and from nature in the future? And what will the Danish cultural landscape look like? A visionary Svend Auken took the first step in showing the pathways of water for the Skjern River. Now the time has come, among other things, to set the Skjern River free and let it follow its natural course—from Vildbjerg in the north, Tinnet Krat in the east, to Ølgod in the south, and all the way to Ringkøbing Fjord”.
