DEBATE ON CLIMATE ADAPTATION OF SOCIAL HOUSING
I had the pleasure of participating in Almen Boligforum’s debate meeting on climate adaptation, which this year was held at the atmospheric Holckenhavn Castle near Nyborg.
“As climate change progresses, water levels will rise significantly, and the dikes we are building today risk being flooded and ending up below sea level in 100 years. In the project ‘Vandets Veje,’ architect Boris Brorman Jensen presents a vision for the society of the future, where water is seen as a natural and integrated part of our lives, buildings, and urban environments—not as an enemy to be fought.
Listen to Boris Brorman Jensen talk about creating cities and landscapes that adapt to and utilize the movement of water in new ways, where sustainable architecture and climate-conscious planning form the foundation for future-proof infrastructure.“
