Design in Nature

My article is part of the digital publication Design in Nature, which was intended as an overview of the Nordic countries’ various efforts for nature conservation, communication and making Nordic nature accessible, through architectural strategies, landscape art intervensions and design.

“Design in Nature is an assembly of design solutions and strategies from the Nordic region, promoting responsible engagement and regeneration of nature. Accompanied by expert overviews that give insight into tradition, current trends and future visions.”

Design in Nature was a part of the Sustainable Tourism in the North initiative of the Icelandic Presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers 2019-2021. Lead by Iceland Design and Architecture in collaboration with Archinfo Finland and DOGA.
