“The different young offices portrayed in this issue of a+u represent a new wave in Danish architecture starting its formation back in the late ‘90s. With fifteen years of growing influence on the Danish architectural scene and increasing international attention, a number of architectural historians and critics have already formulated an authorized genealogy. With less focus on their actual inventions, impacts and individual talents this successful group of young Danish architects are often being labeled as followers or epigones of the Superdutch generation of architects in the Netherlands strongly influenced by OMA’s conceptual and diagrammatic approach.”
