The property developer Refshaleøens Ejendomsselskab and By & Havn (City & Port) are planning an architecture competition about the future structure plan for the Copenhagen island of Refshaleøen and a master plan for phase one. In connection with this effort, the planners held a public event where everyone could offer input and ideas for the process.

The event included a panel of eight experts and featured talks by Jes Transbøl, managing director of Refshaleøens Ejendomsselskab; Ingvar Sejr Hansen, director of development and sales at By & Havn; Anna Esbjørn, Program Director of Future Cities (CONCITO); Kenneth Øhrberg Krag, director of the Danish Cyclists’ Federation; Lars Midtiby, director of the Danish Society for Nature Conservation; Emilie Kjeldsen Kjær, board member for the Association of Danish Landscape Architects; Erik Skibsted Hey, local community organizer and for many years a tenant at Refshaleøen; Lars Autrup, director of the Danish Association of Architects; Karen Mosbech, board member for Home.Earth; and Tina Saaby, director of the Danish Town Planning Institute.
