MEMBER OF ARCHITECTURE POLICY STEERING COMMITTEE
Silkeborg Municipality has established a steering committee to help the municipality develop a new architecture policy. The main purpose of the architecture policy is to assure the quality of the built environment throughout Silkeborg Municipality. Guided by selected themes and values for the physical environment, the architecture policy is to identify key focus points to address in new construction and development projects. The architecture policy is to describe how the municipality – as public authority, client and contributor – can promote the role of architecture as a value-adding element in the development of new urban districts, urban spaces and buildings.
