URBAN NEIGHBOURHOOD IMPROVEMENT IN AARHUS

‘The new housing development on the edge of the Botanical Gardens in Aarhus is one of the finest examples of residential architecture I have seen in a long time in this rapidly expanding capital of Jutland. The new development, which consists of 136 flats and 10 townhouses, ranging in height from two to six storeys, makes up the western part of the centrally located and highly attractive residential neighbourhood known as the “island street neighbourhood” (due to the street names), which is now covered by a recent municipal master plan.’
