Dialogue on design, clean energy and nature conservation

I’m proud to be part of the Sustainable Tourism in the North team. The 6 May event reflects the projects Design in Nature, Clean Energy and Nature Conservation, all of which are part of the larger sustainable tourism initiative Common Path under the 2019 Icelandic presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers. The project aligns with the collective goal of the Nordic countries of developing their tourism sustainably, as they confront different opportunities and challenges with tourism growth across a region where the natural environment is the main attraction.

The event was hosted by Iceland Design and Architecture, the Environment Agency of Iceland and the National Energy Authority of Iceland, who was joined by other stakeholders, decision makers and practitioners in order to discuss, envision and pave the way for sustainable tourism in the north.
